Famed Wisconsin professor Tom Heberlein hunted to the very end in Elderly T

Professor Tom Heberlein always kept a watchful eye on the flagpole at his hunting camp, even though in November it hung empty more often than massive.
While hunting grouse in October, Heberlein would often stop outside his cabin in Ashland County, Wisconsin, shoot his double-barreled .20-gauge shotgun and study a pole tied to the substantial spruce trees lining the driveway to his campsite.
