Even when the Wisconsin DNR elk managing team ends from the first season of hunting bulls in the middle zone of elk, team leaders – potentially – are preparing for the first season of cows in Jackson in autumn 2025.
This is the word from the DNR elk committee, when the members met on Thursday, December 12, in Wausau, to review the hunting seasons in 2024, population estimates, problems with crop damage and all other subjects related to the elbow.
