Charlie Wandy was just a teenager when he shot his first turkey in 2004.
Twenty years later, his love for turkey hunting is stronger than ever and is currently the president of the WAUPACA program in the state of WIS. This year’s program took place over 30 novices, which took place on April 6-7 at Brooks Dairy Farm near Wupaca.
“I didn’t grow up in a hunting family,” said Wanda. “I started spending time with my friends who liked to hunt. This program was the mouth to enter something. “
