Perhaps people should abandon any thoughts that Khris Middleton will leave the Milwaukee Bucks and be traded for Jimmy Butler as long as Giannis Antetokounmpo is on the team.
Recent reports indicate that someone has advised Bucks front office not to trade for the Miami Heat starwhich NBA insiders say can only happen if they fire their three veterans under Middleton.
“Many rumors have it that the Milwaukee Bucks have also been told not to trade for Jimmy Butler,” wrote analyst Kevin O’Connor in X.
Who could this guy be who tipped off the Bucks? Speculation abounds, but many of the team’s fans can only point to one person – the Greek freak.
This is because this is not the first such case. Earlier in 2018, there were rumors that The Bucks will trade two players when Butler was still with the Minnesota Timberwolves, but the Greek Freak quickly put a stop to that.
Giannis Antetokounmpo wouldn’t let Khris Middleton go
Former Bucks center John Henson revealed in 2023 how longtime teammate Middleton vetoed a possible deal that would have ended their five-year partnership in 2018.
At the time, the Bucks were still growing, but many critics believed they were already well on their way to becoming a title contender.
Middleton is a key part of that, and according to Henson, Antetokounmpo believes their partnership should be maintained. They ultimately won the championship together in 2021.
Former Bucks gigantic man John Henson told us about it @SiriusXMNBA that the Bucks called Giannis to ask if he wanted to trade Khris Middleton for Jimmy Butler when Butler was dissatisfied in Minnesota.
According to Henson, Giannis vetoed the deal.
A story I haven’t heard.

AND Justin Termine’s September 2023 tweet reads:
Former Bucks great John Henson told us on @SiriusXMNBA that the Bucks called Giannis to ask if he wanted to deal Khris Middleton for Jimmy Butler when Butler was unhappy in Minnesota.
According to Henson, Giannis vetoed the deal.
Based on this tweet, it wouldn’t be a surprise if word comes out that Giannis is behind the latest reason why Milwaukee still doesn’t want to sign Butler.
