Milwaukee Brewers 2018 is one of the most beloved bands in the latest memory among fans. For the first time since 2011 they made the season after the season and, like this team from 2011, reached the National League Championship Series. Unfortunately, the 2018 team lost this series 4-3 from Los Angeles Dodgers.
Since then, not only the breweries were not back in NLCS, but also did not win the Playoff series from this run.
Of course, this 2018 team was full of stars who had one of the best years of their career. Christian Yelich was NL MVP this year after reaching .326/.402/.598 with 36 home runs, 110 RBI and 22 stolen bases. The first base Jesus Aguilar created his only career All-Star Team, reaching .274/.352/.539 with 35 gears home and 108 RBI.
Travis Shaw, the third base Milwaukee at that time, hit .241/.345/.480 with 32 runs home and 86 RBI. Lorenzo Cain, in his first season with the team that originally developed it, hit. 308/.395/.417 with 10 races at home, 38 RBI and 30 stolen bases.
MiM Mike Moustakas added milwaukee Brewers on the MLB 2018 trade date

Despite the loaded composition, which also included the aging Ryan Braun, which still hit .254/.313/.369 with 20 runs home and 64 RBI, Brewers had one gigantic hole in their composition: second base.
Jonathan Villar did not receive such a base as Milwaukee wanted and needed, so they decided to go after one of the biggest names on the commercial market this year: Mike Moustakas with Kansas City Royals.
Brewers sent Brett Phillips and Jorge Lopez to the Royals for Moustakas, who was already a two-time master of All-Star and World Series. Milwaukee slipped Shaw to the second base, while Moustakas played third.
In 54 matches with brewers this year he hit .256/.326/.441 with eight runs at home and 33 RBI, but it was his single in the game one of the NLD who engraved his name in the Team tradition:

After the 2018 season, Moustakas decided to return to the brewers for an annual contract. Playing in 143 games, he reached .254/.329/.516 with 35 races at home and 87 RBI. It was also the year in which he created his third and last ALL-STAR team.
Mike Moustakas, former Milwaukee Brewers infnderder, announced his retirement

After his year and a half with the brewers, Moustakas signed a contract with Cincinnati Reds. During three seasons, only .216/.300/.383 during the fight against many injuries. He played in just 183 matches during these three seasons.
In 2023, Moustakas divided the time with Colorado Rockies and Los Angeles Angels, hitting .247/.293/.392 with 12 home runs and 48 RBI.
After he did not play in the main directions at all in 2024, he floated again this season. On Monday, he decided to announce his pension with MLB:
Mike Moustakas retired after 13 seasons, three All-Star and 2015 selection #Worldseries Championship with @Royals.
