Former Milwaukee Bucks guard Patrick Beverley condemned the haters now that his former team has reached the NBA Cup Finals, saying it’s time for fans to recognize Doc Rivers’ role in the team’s turnaround this season.
After starting 2-8, the Milwaukee Bucks are now in the lead 14-11and took fifth place in the Eastern Conference table.
“I haven’t heard any slander from Dr. Rivers lately.” Beverley said on his podcast. “I haven’t heard any talk about the Milwaukee Bucks and how they’re not good when they’ve been missing Khris Middleton for almost the entire season.”
– And they don’t even appreciate him for it. They don’t want to love him for it. They literally pick other people and talk about their Player of the Month. How? But go and dig it out of the mud, Greek. We don’t want it the simple way,” Beverley added.

The Milwaukee Bucks have made it this far because they are undefeated in the NBA Cup. They won Group B of the Eastern Conference 4-0 and defeated the Magic and Hawks in the knockout stage.

Meanwhile, his teammate, Damian Lillard, averaged 25.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game during the same period.
