NEENAH – In Sports Showdown’s Match of the Week, Kimberly vs. Neenah FVA lived up to expectations.
Kicker Jack Klundt, ice in his veins, gave Neenah a 29-28 lead with a 26-yard field goal with about 10 seconds left, and Wisconsin’s Grant Dean intercepted Kimberly’s pass as time expired, giving the Rockets their first win over Kimberly since 2005.
Dean also scored a couple of touchdowns that day. Both the Rockets and Kimberly are currently (4-1) in conference play and are second in FVA behind (5-0) Kaukauna.
