The Wisconsin Badgers have been losing players to the transfer portal this offseason. After finishing with a 5-7 record this season, potential changes to the 2025 college football season seemed inevitable. One of the players who recently entered the transfer portal was a winger Will Pauling.
Pauling finished his junior season with the Badgers. During the 2024 college football season, he caught 42 passes for 407 yards and three touchdowns and averaged 9.7 yards per catch.
Wisconsin Badgers fans react to Pauling entering the transfer portal
There has been a lot of reaction to various Badgers players entering the transfer portal this offseason. Pauling is the newest addition to Wisconsin transfer to a different school, here’s what some fans had to say about it:
Good luck on your next adventure, unless it involves Gophers! 🤣

It will be captivating to see which college football teams want to put Will Pauling on the roster for the 2025 college football season. Pauling has a chance to be good at right tackle in 2025, but he also needs to have a good quarterback. Wisconsin didn’t have good quarterback play in 2024.
Better in 2023
When the Badgers’ quarterback play improved in 2023, Will Pauling caught 74 passes for 837 yards and six touchdowns and averaged 11.3 yards per reception. Therefore, it can be successful elsewhere. It’s strange that he didn’t replicate those numbers in the 2024 college football season.
Pauling is 5 feet 7 inches statuesque and weighs 60 pounds. It would be intriguing to see Pauling on another BIG10 conference team next season.
