Green Bay Packers QB Jordan Love is expected to play on Sunday against the Vikings Ian Rapport. Love missed the last two games after spraining his left MCL delayed in the Week 1 loss to the Eagles. In his place, Malik Willis started in wins over the Colts and Titans.
Love suffered a knee injury in the final seconds of the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles, which was the first NFL game in Brazil. In the loss, Love passed for 260 yards with two touchdowns and one interception.
While many fans would argue that it’s too early for Jordan Love to return after the win over Malik Willis, Packers fans understand that there are many third-down situations against the Vikings, who appear to have one of the best defenses in the league. Green Bay fans will be excited and concerned about Jordan Love’s health during his playing days.
Jordan Love feels confident in the way he moves before the game against the Vikings
Tim Capurso published an article in which he talked about Jordan Love’s mobility during Sunday’s Packers game against the Vikings:
“Yes, definitely,” Love replied when asked by reporters earlier this week whether his mobility had improved. “I feel like every day I’m getting better, I’m moving, I’m exercising, I’m feeling better.”
The Packers undoubtedly need Love, who signed a four-year, $220 million contract extension with Green Bay in July, to be as close to 100 percent as possible when the 3-0 Vikings visit town for a crucial early-season division matchup.
Love has rarely participated in practice over the past few days, but with the divisional game looming, he will most likely play if fit. The Vikings just finished the last two weeks of struggling with Brock Purdy and CJ Stroud, and Brian Flores knows how to prepare for the NFL’s top quarterbacks.
