The Green Bay Packers are slowly building a Super Bowl-worthy lineup, and Jordan Love is at the heart of the offense. While there have been a few offensive hiccups through the first five weeks of the season, anyone who has watched the Packers play this season knows that Matt LaFleur is building something special at Lambeau Field.
However, the same fans who are excited about the Packers’ future will be the first to tell you that the team still lacks a solid, well-received core that Love can rely on when the defense disrupts their offensive plans. One sec Jayden Reed quickly established himself as the team’s main weapon while WR1, Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs have faced problems that prevent the Packers from being true contenders in the NFC North.
The Packers managed to defeat the struggling Los Angeles Rams despite Doubs’ absence due to a team-imposed suspension. While Matt LaFleur called for player accountability, the team’s QB1 focused on what lay ahead for him and the team.
Jordan Love urged Green Bay Packers fans not to forget about Romeo Doubs’ suspension before the game in Arizona
The 24-year-old player from Nevada was not evident in the Green Bay locker room during Wednesday’s team appearances, so the media had to reach out to his teammates to get a fair picture of his situation.
Love answered questions firmly and asked everyone to continue working with the team with the goal of winning as many games as possible.
For Associated Press: :
“It happened, it’s in the past and I think everyone is excited for him to come back,” quarterback Jordan Love said. “I think we just move on and learn and grow from this situation.”
It’s clear where Love has his head: he wants to win football games and eliminate any distractions that could distract the team from winning as many games as possible.
Doubs has had quite a run as the #2 option on “Love Through.” four games played this season, passing for 169 yards and 14.1 yards per reception. If he continues to make the same progress he did before his Week 5 suspension, fans can expect a great game from him, Love and the rest of the Green Bay squad.
