When Kevin Hamann married his wife Sheila in 1988, he had no idea what he was getting into.
The couple met as students at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in the early 1980s. Sheila was one of five daughters of Ron and Donna Wilson, and the family lived near Middle Inlet, Wisconsin, a few miles north of Crivitz in Marinette County. Hamann grew up in Marshfield, earned degrees in public administration and eventually served as Oconto County administrator for nearly 25 years before retiring in early 2022.
