Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis recently joined the team Run It Back Podcast from FanDuel to discuss some basketball related topics. During the 21-minute interview, the former NBA champion greeted Charlotte Hornets guard LaMelo Ball.
Bobby Portis said he’s a massive fan of LaMelo Ball’s explosive playing style, especially after seeing him firsthand last month when The ball lost 50 pointsfive rebounds, 10 assists and six three-pointers in a 125-119 Milwaukee Bucks victory.
“I love LaMelo Ball’s game. Brother, jump like you’re in the park, man. Shots from one foot, he will shoot like crazy!” Portis said. “On the court, I’m like, ‘Damn, bro, are you really judging this?’ and hits like crazy. He’s crazy about us, but I like his game, I like his confidence.
Unfortunately for the Charlotte Hornets, LaMelo Ball has been sidelined for some time with an injury calf load. This season, the former NBA Rookie of the Year is averaging 31.1 points, 5.4 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 43% from the field.
Without LaMelo Ball, the Charlotte Hornets have won just once in their last six games, a 113-109 victory over the Indiana Pacers last Sunday.
Bobby Portis played an essential role in the Milwaukee Bucks’ recent victory
The Milwaukee Bucks returned to winning ways after Sunday’s 118-113 victory over the Brooklyn Nets, and Bobby Portis made history.
The 29-year-old forward had 23 points, five rebounds, three blocks and five three-pointers off the bench. Portis also shot 9-of-10 from the field.
