Milwaukee Brewers improved to 19-18 in the season with the third victory in a row, and 4-3 Win on the Houston Astros on American Family Field on Tuesday evening. The starter from the right-handed shit Chad Patrick won and now has 2-3 in the season of 6.2 rounds of three balls, thanks to which he gave up four hits, a walk and hitting six batteries.
Milwaukee’s offensive production took place early, in the lower half of the first round. With two outlets and two runners, Rhys Hoskins hit a double bang, who almost cleaned the wall to go in two runs. Next cake, Jake BauersHe crushed a long run home to the dead center, giving brewers lead 4-0.
These would be all the runs that Milwaukee could collect in this game, but that’s all they need.
Milwaukee Brewers Utility Player Jake Bauers was an unknown hero
Last season Bauers hit. However, he hit 116 games held 118 times.
And although he hit the dramatic run at home, which gave the brewers a chance to win the NL Wild Card series with New York Metts, its lack of production, in the regular season in 2024, prompted many fans to welcome his free agency.
But Bauers did not end up with the brewers. At the beginning of the season, he agreed to a petite league agreement with an invitation to spring training. After the start of the camp, Bauers began to hit and did not look back. He used his productive several weeks in Arizona to get a place on the opening day.
Many fans did not know exactly where Bauers would play. Finally, Hoskins plays almost every day in the first base, while Jackson Chourio and Sal Frelick were broken up as a daily corner.
It was certainly good that the breweries were holding him. The injuries of many external, including Frelick, meant that Bauers could see more time to play. In 22 games he hits .261/.358/.500 with three gears at home, 11 RBI and two stolen bases. What’s more, he hit 18 times and drew seven walks.
In addition to better offensive production, Bauers was called to the field in four games this year, in which Milwaukee was far behind. He also shot in four matches throughout the whole last year. In these competitions in 2025 Bauers has 0.00 era and 1.25 Whip.
Jake Bauers loves to be a part of Milwaukee breweries

After reaching a free agency, Bauers could leave anywhere. Due to its positional versatility and decent power, he could go almost anywhere.
But he didn’t want to go anywhere. He wanted to stay in Milwaukee. So much that he signed a contract with a petite league to stay with the Brewers organization, convinced that he could get a place in the league.
And he was right.
After winning on Tuesday, Bauers was asked about his way of thinking and how he could stay warm on the plate, not knowing exactly whether he would play (or where).
“I think I’m just grateful for every occasion that I can play this game and play for brewers.”

“I think I am simply grateful for the opportunity that I have to play this game and play for brewers. I love to be here, so every time I can get to the field, I just try to make a contribution and help the team win victory. It was my mentality throughout the season.”
Perhaps one of the most pleasant surprises is that although it is a petite size of the sample of six albums, Bauers hits .400/.500/.600 compared to the left bacon. With so many injuries in the composition of brewers, he proved (so far) that Pat Murphy can put him there, regardless of who throws his opponent.
