In summer, swim the inner kelp edge to catch bass, pike and muskie

Early summer is a time of intense activity for almost every species of fish. Early spawning species, such as pike and walleye, are well past their spawning years and on their way to their summer habitat. Later spawning species, such as muskies, bass, and perch, are just past their spawning years and in the process of moving from their spawning grounds to places where they can feed and recover the energy they expended during spawning.
