On Wednesday, it was announced that the former Badgers were returning Montee Ball was named College Football Hall of Fame for the class of 2025. The ball responded on its Twitter to this huge news, saying:
“It’s such an honor. Thank you very much to all the voters, the committee, Badger fans, my family and teammates UW football, Thomas Hammock and everything that has helped me on this journey. Thank you, thank you, thank you.”
This is a big deal for him and his family. Many Badgers fans remember his success in college. During his college career, Ball played in 94 games and rushed for 5,140 yards on 924 carries and 77 touchdowns, and averaged 5.6 yards per carry.
