Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love practiced for the second straight day on Thursday, and coach Matt LaFleur once again refused to reveal anything beyond Love’s participation in practice.
Love was officially restricted. The fact that he practiced at all on Thursday — practicing in pads after returning to the practice field on Wednesday — left the door wide open for him to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.
LaFleur expected Love to be restricted again Friday. The Packers will give him a full week to make a decision, meaning it could be until the inactives are announced Sunday before we know who the Packers quarterback is.
In Thursday’s updated injury report, the Packers promoted three players: Jayden Reed (calf) returned to practice on a restricted basis, Elgton Jenkins (sore/glute) returned to practice on a restricted basis and Kingsley Enagbare (groin) moved from restricted to full participation.
First-round draft pick Jordan Morgan and cornerback Carrington Valentine missed practice for the second straight day. They had been rotating in the lineup at right guard and perimeter cornerback.
