Make Music Day is a free live music festival taking place on June 21, the longest day of the year, during which concerts take place in unique places, on streets, sidewalks and parks throughout the city.
Our festival is part of the larger Make Music Day, an international summer solstice music celebration that takes place in over 1,000 cities around the world. In Wisconsin, more cities participate in Make Music Day than any other state in the United States. In 2023, a total of 34 performances are planned (and more will take place spontaneously) by 24 different artists or groups in 13 unique venues. We can’t wait to see even more of them in 2024!
