Milwaukee Breweries 18-year-old prospect Eric Bitonti has been showing off his power this season. The left-handed hitter was recently promoted from the Arizona Complex League to the Single-A Carolina Mudcats and immediately hit a ton of home runs. Here’s more about his history, how many home runs he’s hit and the praise he’s getting from organizations and prospect evaluators.
Eric Bitonti was selected in the 2023 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers.
Last year, prep infielder Eric Bitonti went undrafted. MLB.com had him 68th overall on its board, and Milwaukee selected him 87th overall. The Brewers traded well over the slot value to secure his place in their organization, a similar strategy they used when Cooper Pratt went to Milwaukee in the sixth round that same year.
After recently being promoted to Single-A, Eric Bitonti has hit a ton of home runs.
In 51 games in the Arizona Complex League, Eric Bitonti hit eight long balls and had a 1.031 OPS. He was one of the league’s best hitters, and after being promoted to the Carolina Mudcats, he continued to bat. The 18-year-old hit five home runs in his first seven games, many of which went over 420 feet.
FYI, for anyone interested in baseball, stay away from ERIC BITONTI❗️

Eric Bitonti is receiving praise from the Milwaukee Brewers organization and others.
Following Eric Bitonti’s home run streak and success, he received praise on social media from Brewers offensive coordinator Brenton Del Chiaro and several prospect evaluators.
Hot start for @ericbitonti10 who so deserves this chance! His preparation and training are paying off, leading to his early success. 📈🚀💪 #ThisIsMyCrew https://t.co/YBikNTnriu

Eric Bitonti has incredible power for an 18-year-old. He’s also shown a surprisingly quick adaptation to Low A, just look at those contact/swing rates after a crazy first few games.
If he maintains his average number of touches, Eric Bitonti could be an absolute star https://t.co/fsYpTN0dcr photo:twitter.com/RK6b2sRzZn— Jake McKibbin (@thebrewerblogs) August 8, 2024
Eric Bitonti is just a weirdo. 107 EV tonight, 421 foot HR. Two straight days with 420+ foot HR as an 18 year vintage in a full season
