The Milwaukee Brewers have signed an outfielder, according to a source Bladimir Restituyo to his 2025 MiLB contract. Over the past week, he was the second player from the Colorado Rockies system to sign with the Crew. Also joining the team is outfielder Jimmy Herron, who hits for average and power while maintaining good contact.

Media contact and Biloxi Shuckers broadcaster Javik Blake was the first to report that Milwaukee has added Bladimir Restituyo to his MiLB contract for 2025. Bladimir Restituyo spent the last two seasons with the Rockies Double-A team, so there is a real possibility that he will begin his career with the Brewers in Shuckers. He originally signed with Colorado as an international free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 2017.

Looking at Bladimir Restituyo’s statistics, several things stand out. The good things are that he consistently has a high batting average (.272 throughout his career), doesn’t strike out very often (19% career QR), and can steal bases (17-31 stolen bases per year as of 2021). Downsides include that he has tremendous draw power (46-54% per year since 2018) and doesn’t walk very often (career 3.8% walk rate); resulting in low on-base percentage each year (career .298 OBP).
