The victory solidified the fact that Milwaukee is the only Major League team this year not to have lost four games in a row, and after the game, manager Pat Murphy had a lot to say about the game and what it means for this year’s team.

One thing that may have ignited the Brewers victory was the thunderous boos from the 37,000-plus fans at American Family Field. Pat Murphy said that “it woke the guys up. Like, ‘We have a responsibility. We took our foot off the gas.’ … It’s a tribute to those guys that they might want to be the last ones standing.”

How scarce was the Brewers comeback win against the Arizona Diamondbacks? After the game, Pat Murphy made sure to mention how few times something like that had happened in franchise history, saying, “this is the fourth time in franchise history and the first time in 21 seasons that we (the Brewers) have come back from a deficit.”
