The Milwaukee Breweries announced the 2024 Minor League Players of the Year. Last year’s four winners were position players Jackson Chourio and Tyler Black along with pitchers Robert Gasser and Carlos Rodriguez. This year’s winners were Jesus Made and Cooper Pratt, and the pitchers were KC Hunt and Craig Yoho.
Milwaukee Brewers Co-Player of the Year: Jesus Made
The 17-year-old Switch hitting Jesus Made had a great 2024 season in the Dominican Summer League. In 51 games, the hitter slashed .331/.458/.551, walked 39 times, struck out just 28 times, and stole 28 bases. In terms of extra base hits, he managed to hit nine doubles, six triples and six home runs. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him in Low-A in 2025 with the Carolina Mudcats.
Milwaukee Brewers Co-Player of the Year: Cooper Pratt
20-year-old shortstop Cooper Pratt had an impressive first full season in professional baseball. He was a damp 2023 sixth-round pick last year, but this year he managed to make it through three tiers (Low-A, High-A and Double). His tenure in Double-A was brief, as the Brewers advanced him to the Biloxi Shuckers playoffs, but Pratt earned the recognition as he posted a .768 OPS and 27 stolen bases in 96 regular-season games.

Former Mississippi State Bulldog KC Hunt had his best professional season in 2024. At age 24, the right-hander started his bullpen career in Low-A Carolina and eventually made it to Double-A and was a dominant force in the outfield. mound. This year he posted a 2.12 ERA and 139 strikeouts in 102 innings. He walked just 25 batters all year and posted a 0.93 WHIP.
Milwaukee Brewers Co-Player of the Year: Craig Yoho
Craig Yoho, an eighth-round pick in the 2023 MLB Draft out of Indiana University, has been one of the best relievers in baseball this year. The right-wing switch has been likened to airbender Devin Williams. Yoho once went viral after a changeup he threw that had 47 inches of vertical movement (Devin Williams averages 40-43 inches of vertical movement). He also put up forceful numbers on the field, as at three levels (High-A, Double-A and Triple-A) he had just a 0.94 ERA in 57.2 innings that also included 101 strikeouts for a .151 batting average against , WHIP of 0.94 and 10 total savings.
