Milwaukee Brewers: Brewers punish Rockies in 3-0 win

During the first two games of the four-game series, the Milwaukee Brewers lost 8-7 and won 4-3 against the Colorado Rockies. During the third game of the series, the Brewers were able to punish the Rockies and walk away with 3-0 win without a goal. Milwaukee now extends its lead in the NL Central to seven games over the second-place St. Louis Cardinals with a 52-35 record. Colorado is 29-57 and the worst team in the National League.

Milwaukee has three more series to play before the All-Star break. After that series concludes on July 4, the Brewers will travel to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers in a three-game series beginning Friday night. The Colorado Rockies will remain at home and welcome the Kansas City Royals for another three-game series.

Colorado had eight hits, but they failed to bring anything home and lost the game 3-0.
