One of the biggest questions faced by Milwaukee Brewers this season was the health and availability of a three-time All-Star player Christian Yelich. Last season, NL MVP 2018 created its third ALL-STAR team and reached 0.315/.406/.504 with 11 gears at home, 42 RBI and 21 stolen bases. Unfortunately, he was constrained to only 75 games because of the persistent back injury, which required surgery.
What was so disappointing in the shortened Yelich season was that he finally hit at the same level as he was when he was at the top of his match in 2018 and 2019. Although the number of power was not there, he ran the National League in the average blink and the base percentage when he went to IL.
Milwaukee Brewers Star Christian Yelich years returned to the creation of a broken knee cap

When Yelich broke the knee hat in 2019, he hit. 329/.429/.671 with 44 home runs, 97 RBI and 30 stolen bases. When he returned in 2020, he obtained .205/.356/.430 with 12 races at home and 22 RBI (58 games).
In the years 2021-2023 its number became better and better, but he still looked like the shadow of his former self. At that time, he came to the collective .260/.362/.404, at the same time on average 14 runs home, 61 RBI and 19 stolen season bases.
And although these numbers are not “bad”, as we say, were well below the standard, which Yelich established for his seasons 2018 and 2019.
It wasn’t until 2024 that he began to put it all. Its average blinking was over 0.300 for the first time in years. The same applied to its percentage on a basis above 0.400.
But his back injury wondered if the last year was the last good season he would have because of his back injury, and if it was available to brewers on the opening day this year.
Milwaukee Brewers All-Star Christian Yelich feels good

On Saturday, Yelich has received his first hit of spring training so far (he did not play in the first few matches): Run home over the eye of a trunker at Centerfield:

After the match, Yelich told journalists that he was feeling better and better with every game he plays. On curt hogg of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
“I still think I can play at a fairly high level. I think I played at a fairly high level last year until I was hurt.
“I was better there every day, it’s better. This is the goal of spring training. Just build. “
It seems that Yelich will be ready for the opening day. I hope that his injuries are behind him and is able to pick up the place where he finished before surgery last season.
