Milwaukee Brewers Hall of Fame Results 2025; 1 elected, 1 remains eligible, 1 is removed from the ballot

Three former Milwaukee brewers were on the list 2025 MLB Hall of Fame voting. The first players were CC Sabathia and Curtis Granderson, while Francisco Rodriguez played for his third year. Of that group, one was elected, one received enough votes to be eligible for the 2026 election, and another was removed from future ballots.

CC Sabathia was elected to the Hall of Fame

CC Sabathia celebrates after receiving his induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame at his home in Alpine, New Jersey, on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. CC Sabathia, his mother Margie Sabathia and daughter Ciya Sabathia make a toast.

2008 mid-2008 Brewers hero CC Sabathia was elected to the Hall of Fame with 86.8% of the vote. To get the Cooperstown nod, 75% is needed. Sabathia had one of the best stretches a starting pitcher has ever seen while he was in Milwaukee, as over 17 starts he threw 130.2 innings, seven complete games (three shutouts) and had an ERA of 1.65, helping the Brew Crew finish off an extensive playoff drought.

Francisco Rodriguez will remain a member of the Hall of Fame for another year

Since Rodriguez became eligible for Cooperstown, he has hovered around 10% of the Hall of Fame ballot. In the first year of voting in 2023, he received 42 votes, or 10.8%. Last year that number dropped to 30 votes and 7.8%, but this year he saw a rebound, gaining 40 votes and 10.2%. Rodriguez is sixth all-time with 437 saves and will continue to be an fascinating Hall of Fame candidate.

Granderson was the brewer for just a few months in 2018. The three-time All-Star and one-time Silver Slugger finished his 16-year MLB career with a 47.2 bWAR and a .249/.337/.465 slash line that included 344 home runs, 937 RBI, 153 stolen bases and 1,800 total hits. He received only three votes and did not meet the 5% vote criteria to be eligible for future Hall of Fame ballots.
