Milwaukee Brewers Hall of Famer Robin Yount first met rising star Jackson Chourio during a special hosted by Jon Morosi on MLB Network. Yount, 69, spent 20 MLB seasons with the Brew Crew and made his debut at age 18. Chourio made his major league debut this year, a few weeks after turning 20, and will remain a Brewer until at least 2031.

More: Five highlights from the Brewers’ divisional graduation ceremony.
Jackson Chourio became emotional while watching video of fans storming County Stadium when the Milwaukee Brewers won the pennant in 1982.
The video above captures footage of Jackson Chourio watching the 1982 league championship final game. After Robin Yount reached the finals, fans stormed the baseball field and celebrated with the team. Watching this moved Jackson Chourio and he said, “You can see that not only the team won, but also the fans.”
Jackson Chourio has a chance to make a significant impact in Milwaukee just like Robin Yount did.
Last offseason, Jackson Chourio signed the largest contract extension of any player who had yet to make an MLB debut. This deal will keep him in Milwaukee for at least eight seasons, but potentially longer. Between how youthful and talented he is and the fact that the Brewers rewarded his tough work with this opportunity and contract, he could have stayed with the organization for a long time and made a significant impact on the franchise, just like Robin Yount did.
