Brewers prospect Luis Castillo had quite the weekend. From July 26-28, he collected 16 RBIs. On July 26, he went 4-4 with two home runs, a double and six RBIs. The next day, he went 2-4 with two RBIs. Finally, on July 28, he went 3-4 with two more home runs, another double and eight RBIs. Overall, he went 9-12 in those three games with four home runs, two doubles and 16 RBIs.

Luis Castillo joins the Milwaukee Brewers during the 2021 international transfer period.
In 2021, Dominican-born Luis Castillo signed with the Brewers organization. He was in the same International Signing class that included Jackson Chourio, Gregory Barrios, Daniel Guiilarte, Hendry Mendez, Jadher Areinamo and others. The outfielder is coming off his most productive season in 2024, which includes 14 home runs, 60 RBI and a .712 OPS.
