According to an interview with Jersey Sports Zone, Bryce Meccage was surprised that the Brewers took him. He pointed out that they attended many of his games where he didn’t throw a single hit his final season, but they weren’t one of the more dynamic teams at the Combine. Meccage then revealed that a Brewers scout trained him when he was 12.

The Brewers have not officially announced that they have signed Bryce Meccage to a contract, but all indications are that he will join the organization instead of playing in college.
