Milwaukee Brewers Slugger scores his first hit with a runner in scoring position since May 11

The Milwaukee Breweries The offense has been great this year, keeping running backs at the top of the rankings. At the beginning of the season they took advantage of such situations more often, but recently they have had problems. This is especially true for one of their sluggers, who recently had his first hit with a runner in scoring position in nearly six weeks.

In all of Major League Baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers have the most hits with runners in scoring position.

Off-season addition Rhys Hoskins is currently in a grave crisis. Since June 5 (12 games), he is slashing .143/.213/.191. The June 5 date is Hoskins’ fifth game back from a hamstring injury that cost him several weeks.

Against the San Diego Padres, Rhys Hoskins scored his first hit with a runner in scoring position in almost six weeks.

Per Dominic Cotroneo, looking back at Hoskins’ numbers before Thursday’s game against the San Diego Padres, his last hit with a runner in scoring position came on May 11 against the St. Louis Cardinals. Hoskins’ tying double in the ninth inning finally ended the streak.

Even though the Brewers lost the series opener against the Padres, we’re hoping this hit helps Hoskins out of his slump.
