Anything less than a deep playoff run would leave the door open for other teams to come calling with offers if the Greek Freak ends his career with the Bucks.
The Bucks didn’t make any significant roster changes this offseason, but the players they brought in should lend a hand the team improve if Giannis and Damian Lillard are fit enough to play.
One of the main talking points for Bucks fans is the potential for a strategic change. Doc Rivers has the personnel to implement a small-ball roster and cause a ton of matchup issues for the rest of the Eastern Conference contenders.
While the plan seems feasible on paper, one analyst believes the effectiveness of this strategy depends on one player.

For Bucks Pass Dalton Sell agrees that Antetokounmpo could potentially fill a center role on the team’s minor league roster, where he would play alongside Lillard, Delon, Wright, Taurean Prince and Andre Jackson Jr.
Four of the five names Sell mentioned have the talent and experience to pull off this tactic, which leads the analyst to wonder if Jackson would be able to adapt to it adequately:
The gigantic question mark in this scenario is Andre Jackson Jr. In brief bursts, the winger showed the potential to be everything the Milwaukee Bucks needed off the bench last year as a high-flying athlete who could leap out of the gym to dunk or block. At 6-foot-6 with a nearly 6-foot-10 arm span, he’s another long winger who can relentlessly harass opponents.
Is Jackson Ready for a Big Role in Year 2? Almost Every Bucks Fan I’ll tell you thisand rightfully so, considering what he showed as a rookie. If the soon-to-be sophomore can capitalize on his contract propensity to draw fouls while still shooting the ball well from distance, he should be guaranteed a spot in the rotation under Doc Rivers. He has all the physical tools to succeed defensively on this roster.
If the Bucks decide to continue with a small-ball philosophy, Jackson will have a lot of responsibility to lend a hand the team win. However, he could become a huge asset to the Bucks if he develops in that role in his second campaign with the team.
