Milwaukee Bucks News: Despite being named an All-Star for the eighth time in his illustrious career, there’s no denying that Damian Lillard’s first season with the Bucks hasn’t exactly gone according to plan. After all, Lillard came to Milwaukee last summer with the goal of winning his first NBA championship.
Needless to say, being eliminated in the first round of the NBA playoffs is a far cry from achieving that goal.
That’s why the 34-year-old is working strenuous in the offseason to prepare for what he hopes will be improved postseason play next year.
Milwaukee Bucks News: Damian Lillard Talks New Season
Lillard posted a elementary photo of himself in a Bucks uniform on Instagram on Tuesday, but he added a two-word caption that should be seen as Dame’s way of expressing what we can expect from him this year.
“soon…” he wrote.
The Bucks shared a screenshot of Lillard’s post on X, formerly Twitter, with an equally enticing caption.
“Year 2 loading…” the tweet read.

While Lillard may have been subtle in his approach, it should still serve as a warning to the rest of the NBA in lithe of Dame’s year of revenge. His rookie season in Milwaukee wasn’t terrible at all, but knowing the man, anything less than a championship with his novel team is considered a disappointment.
Lillard hopes that everything will change in the novel season.
