Damian Lillard is a huge fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, but the NFL team is testing his patience. The Milwaukee Bucks star point guard is clearly following the news about Raiders winger Davante Adams, who has reportedly informed his team that he wants a trade.

“If the Raiders trade Tae for a damn second-round pick, I’m done,” Lillard published in October (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday.
It appears Adams isn’t content with how things are going with the Raiders, who are 2-2 after four weeks of the 2024 NFL regular season. Las Vegas appears to be open to the idea of trading for the star, as the Raiders have reportedly told teams they will hear offers for the winger in exchange for a package that includes a second-round draft pick. This clearly doesn’t sit well with Lillard as he prepares for the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season.
Lillard can feel sorry for Adams. In 2023, Lillard requested a trade from the Portland Trail Blazers before being dealt to the Bucks, who secured him in a three-team trade that also included the Phoenix Suns. Like Adams, Lillard is an aging star still chasing an elusive championship; Lillard turned 34 last July, and Adams will be 32 in December.
However, it appears that the Bucks have a much better chance of winning the championship this upcoming season than the Raiders have of winning the Super Bowl in the 2024 NFL campaign.
It will be fascinating to see how the Davante Adams trade saga ends. Lillard only hopes what’s best for the Raiders.
