The The Milwaukee Bucks are showing some decline fit again. After silencing the critics with an incredible performance in the 2024 NBA Cup, culminating with a victory in Las Vegas over the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Bucks are once again struggling with consistency.
Since the end of the NBA Cup, they are just 2-3. Moreover, after defeats against the Brooklyn Nets (111:105) and the Chicago Bulls (116:111), they are on a two-game losing streak.
Saturday’s loss to the Bulls also wasted time an incredible effort from star point guard Damian Lillardwho accomplished a feat that had never been done before in the franchise’s history.

Damian Lillard had a fantastic performance during the Milwaukee Bucks’ loss to the Bulls
Either way, it was a spectacular performance by Lillard. Despite dominating the ball and he dominated dribblinghe managed to avoid handing the ball to the Bulls. As a team, the Bucks committed only seven turnovers.
Lillard had to try very difficult against the Bulls, and his partner and Bucks forward, Giannis Antetokounmpo, was sidelined due to illness for the fourth consecutive time. So far in the 2024-25 NBA regular season, Lillard is averaging 25.9 points, 7.7 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 2.9 turnovers per game.
Meanwhile, Brook Lopez scored 22 points against the Bulls and Khris Middleton added 21 points for the Bucks, who dropped to 16-14.
Lillard and the Bucks will try to avoid three losses when they face the Indiana Pacers on the road next Tuesday.
