The story of a toy maker and his beloved wooden puppet, “My Son Pinocchio Jr.” at the Racine Children’s Theater from Friday, November 15 to Sunday, November 17, 2024. When the Blue Fairy grants Geppetto’s wish to bring his beloved doll to life, the fresh father quickly learns that being a parent comes with many challenges. He tries to make his son the “perfect boy”, but loses him to the Roustabout gang. Only when faced with the thought of never seeing Pinocchio again does Geppetto learn the joys of being a father and unconditional love for his child.
