The Osceola Chieftains ice sheath team won the third Intesscholastic Fishing Championship Championships Wisconsin High School in Mississippi, La Crosse during the event on February 14-15.
WIFA took its state championship in Mississippi Pool 7 and Pool 8 of 79 out of 150 WIFA teams. The anglers from the Oscelei high school won their third trophy, taking the highest awards from 527.25 inches of fish. This Mark eliminated 516.25 inches Slinger (second place) and third place Winneconne with 506.75 inches of fish.
