Packers departments upgrade QB Jordan Love to full participant in practice

Another verification moment in Jordan Love’s recovery process after spraining the cruciate muscle in his left knee came on Thursday, when the Green Bay Packers promoted him to a full training participant.

Love was narrow on Wednesday after returning to the field last Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings. On Wednesday after training, he revealed that he was back to doing the full number of reps in first-team training.

On Thursday, he was listed as a full participant for the first time since his injury on September 6 in Brazil.

The Packers will play the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday. There is a good chance that Love, who missed two games, will be completely removed from Friday’s final health report.

Love was one of four adjustments in Thursday’s updated injury report. Cornerback Jaire Alexander, defensive lineman Kenny Clark and offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins returned to practice on a narrow basis.

The only addition was receiver Romeo Doubs, who did not appear at training on Thursday due to personal reasons. Coach Matt LaFleur said the Packers expect Doubs to be available Friday.

The Rams were once again without receiver Cooper Kupp (ankle). Defensive lineman Larrell Murchison did not practice Thursday after suffering a recent foot injury.

The Packers will practice again on Friday before we receive a final health report. In addition to Doubs, four other players did not practice for the Packers on Thursday: tight end Luke Musgrave, receiver Christian Watson, defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt and linebacker Edgerrin Cooper. Everything indicates that all four will not play on Sunday.
