Packers QB Jordan Love will appear in practice at the beginning of the week due to an elbow injury

Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love was constrained in practice Wednesday after injuring his right elbow during Sunday’s season finale against the Chicago Bears.

Coach Matt LaFleur said Love threw “to a limited extent” on Wednesday, but provided no other details. The injury report – due Wednesday – will list Love as constrained.

The Packers play the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial Field in Sunday’s NFC Wild Card round.

Love was injured in the second quarter of the game against the Bears and fell to the ground. He hit a nerve in his right elbow and lost feeling in his hand and fingers, especially the little finger.

Here’s Love’s response to The Athletic’s Matt Schneidman asking if he’ll play on Sunday:

Love said he no longer struggles with numbness, but does experience pain in his elbow.

The Packers aren’t the only team dealing with a quarterback injury. Jalen Hurts, who suffered a concussion last month, has been out since Week 16 but will practice Wednesday.

LaFleur said the Packers “expect” Hurts to play Sunday, but will also be ready if the Eagles need to start the backup position at quarterback.
