According to Pelissaro, this is the third time Jacobs has won an appeal against a fine in the last two years.

The original penalty was for Jacobs lowering his head and initiating contact with his opponent.

The appeals are being heard by officers Derrick Brooks, Ramon Foster, Kevin Mawae and Jordy Nelson, four former NFL players. Decisions made by appeals officers are final and binding.

In nine games, Jacobs gained 762 rushing yards, 890 total yards and four touchdowns on 177 total touches.

The Packers have a bye week in Week 10. Jacobs has been dealing with an ankle injury the past two weeks, but could be robust after the bye. The Packers return to the field against the Chicago Bears on Sunday, November 17.
