Packers sections add LT Rasheed Walker injured, with their Week 6 performance considered questionable

Injury to monitor for the Green Bay Packers ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Arizona Cardinals: Left tackle Rasheed Walker has been added to the team’s injury report with a up-to-date knee injury. His performance at Friday’s training is considered unplayable.

Walker started all five games for the Packers at left tackle. Veteran Andre Dillard is listed as a backup on the team’s unofficial depth chart. Only Walker has taken snaps at left tackle for the Packers this season.

End-of-week injuries can be tough to manage for both player and team. The game plan is already installed and ready to go, and Walker has less than 48 hours to physically recover and prepare for the game.

In five games, Walker has allowed one sack and 10 total pressures in 177 pass-blocking snaps played. He committed five penalties but has been without a penalty for the past two weeks.

The other option on the left wing if Walker is unavailable is first-round pick Jordan Morgan, but his performance is also questionable and he has missed two straight games with a re-injured shoulder. Asking him to play on the left wing after primarily rotating at right back would be tough. Left guard Elgton Jenkins and right guard Zach Tom have experience at left guard.

Encouraging injury news, the Packers have removed Tucker Kraft from the injury report. He will play on Sunday. On Thursday, Kraft was added to the injury report with a up-to-date groin injury.

The Packers listed five players as questionable, including Walker, and ruled out defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt, who has an ankle injury.

It’s possible that a decision on Walker will be made during the game. Inactives should arrive for the Packers and Cardinals at 10:30 a.m. ET. on Sunday.
