The Green Bay Packers added offensive linemen Rasheed Walker and Jordan Morgan to the injury report on Thursday due to the potential for recurrence of venerable injuries.
Walker was confined Thursday with a knee injury and Morgan was confined with a shoulder injury, according to the updated injury report. Veteran offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins was rested Thursday and was added as a confined participant with no injury indication.
Walker, the starting left tackle, hasn’t missed a game this season, but has already been on the injured list this season with a knee injury. Morgan, the team’s first-round pick, missed training camp with a shoulder injury and then was reinjured in Week 2, forcing him to miss three straight games.
The Packers are selecting Andre Dillard as their backup left guard, although the team may completely revamp its offensive line if Walker is unable to play on Sunday. Morgan started at left tackle in Week 9, but would likely be the team’s sixth offensive lineman if center Josh Myers returns this week as expected.
The Packers made no other updates to the injury report on Thursday. The Bears returned confined forward Montez Sweat and defenseman Tarvarius Moore on Thursday.
