Green Bay Packers has two opponents in their schedule of road 2025 who will play international games, creating a real opportunity that Matt Lafleur’s team will play abroad at some point next season.
Packers – who opened the 2024 season against Philadelphia Eagles in Brazil – will play Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025, and both teams are designated as home teams for international matches.
The Brownie is one of the two teams that will play in London at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium, and Steelers will play in Dublin in the first NFL game in Ireland.
Rumors were associated with the Internet when it comes to Packers who are already chosen as a Steelers opponent in Dublin. Neither NFL nor Packers confirmed the reports.
Packers have only eight home games in 2025 and will not give up home game to play internationally.
Packers were the last team that played an international game as part of the International NFL series. Since then, they have lost both international matches – as the first for New York Giants in London in 2022, and the second, which will open 2024 against the Eagles. Packers are one of only six teams without winning the NFL International series, which began in 2007.
NFL will play matches in England (London), Ireland (Dublin), Spain (Madrid), Germany (Berlin) and Brazil (Sao Paulo) in the 2025 season.
