Packers sections list 3 players, including C Josh Myers, as questionable for Week 8 game against Jaguars

The Green Bay Packers may return defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt to the field on Sunday, but two other players will likely join him as part of game-time decisions ahead of Sunday’s game against the Jaguars in Jacksonville.

The Packers ruled Wyatt (ankle), center Josh Myers (wrist) and guard Quay Walker (concussion) unable to play Sunday. Cornerback Corey Ballentine (ankle), who did not practice all week, is listed as questionable.

Wyatt, who leads the team with 3.0 sacks, has missed the last three games after suffering an ankle injury against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 4. He exercised on a confined basis throughout the week.

Myers missed Wednesday’s practice and had confined appearances on Thursday and Friday. It’s unclear how the Packers would configure the offensive line if Myers is unavailable, but left guard Elgton Jenkins will be the primary backup option at center in 2024. Speaking of Jenkins, he has no designated status despite missing Wednesday’s practice with a glute injury.

Walker is going through concussion protocol. He had a confined number of participants on both Thursday and Friday, so the door remains open for him if he completes the protocol and plays on Sunday.

Ballentine has played 114 snaps on special teams, accounting for 61 percent of the special teams snaps for the Packers this season. He was the only player who couldn’t train for the last two days.

The Jaguars listed six players as questionable: running back Travis Etienne (hamstring), linebacker Foye Oluokun (foot), defensive tackle Esezi Otomewo (calf), tackle Cam Robinson (concussion), defensive tackle Maason Smith (ankle) and linebacker Andrew Wingard ( knee). Everyone except Smith practiced Friday. Oluokun and Wingard are expected to return from injured reserve.
