The Green Bay Packers ruled out receiver Christian Watson and safety Zayne Anderson, and listed five other players – including three starters – as questionable in their final NFC Wild Card round injury report.
One notable injury-free player: Quarterback Jordan Love practiced at full capacity Thursday and Friday and is officially ready for Sunday’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Neither Watson (knee, offseason) nor Anderson (concussion) practiced this week.
Linebacker Quay Walker, safety Evan Williams and defensive lineman TJ Slaton – all playing in Jeff Hafley’s defense – are questionable. As does rotation forward Brenton Cox Jr. and backup attackman Andre Dillard.
Walker (ankle) and Williams (quad) are trying to return from three absences to finish the regular season. Both were constrained in all three practices this week. Slaton suffered an ankle injury in the season finale, but was able to practice on a constrained basis on Thursday and Friday. The availability of all three players will be key as the Packers try to snail-paced down Saquon Barkley, who rushed for 2,005 yards in 16 games in 2024.
Neither did Cox Jr. (foot) nor Dillard (concussion) did not play in the season finale. Cox Jr. practiced all week, and Dillard became a full participant for the first time on Friday. Cox provides pass rushing depth on the edge, while Dillard is the top backup on offense.
Receiver Romeo Doubs will return after missing the season finale due to illness. He was a full participant throughout the week.
Backup point guard Malik Willis will also be ready for Sunday despite suffering a right thumb injury.
