Jon-Eriv Sullivan, director of the Green Bay Packers staff, conducted an interview with four different teams with the opening of the General Director during the recruitment cycle in 2025, but will remain in the staff of Brian Gutekunst for at least another year.
Jacksonville Jaguars announced that the team employs James Gladstone, so that on Friday he would be their up-to-date director general.
Sullivan, who has been in Green Bay for over two decades, was a finalist of work in Jacksonville. He also interviewed New York Jets, Tennessee Titans and Las Vegas Raiders from the end of the 2024 season, but all three teams hired other candidates.
Sullivan is the vice president of Packers for Player Personnel at Gutekunst.
Sullivan joined Packers as an intern in 2003. He spent eight years (2008-15) as a scout, two seasons as the director of Scouting College (2016-17) and four seasons as a player personnel (2018–2021). He was promoted to the vice president of the player staff in 2022.
Season 2025 would be 22. Sullivan with Packers if he returns.
Four interviews in this cycle suggest that Sullivan is on the verge of landing of the general director. He will probably be a scorching candidate again during the 2026 cycle.
