Packers sections return LG Elgton Jenkins to practice on Tuesday

The Green Bay Packers made one significant adjustment to their injury report on Tuesday: Left guard Elgton Jenkins was listed as confined after missing Monday’s practice with a knee injury.

Jenkins’ return to practice should be a good sign of his availability for Thursday’s matchup against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field.

It is unclear who would play at left back if Jenkins is unable to leave. Rookie fifth-round pick Jacob Monk is a possible option. First-round pick Jordan Morgan, who has played snaps at left and right guard this season, remains on injured reserve, while Kadeem Telfort, Andre Dillard and Travis Glover are more time-honored tackles.

The Packers made two more adjustments to the injury report on Tuesday: offensive tackle John FitzPatrick was moved to a full participant, while defensive end Arron Mosby was removed from the injury report entirely after the concussion protocol was approved.

While Jenkins is back and appears to have a better chance of playing on Thursday, the same can’t be said for Lions left tackle Taylor Decker. He missed Tuesday’s practice again, and coach Dan Campbell believes he won’t be able to play on Thursday.

Linebacker Edgerrin Cooper (hamstring) and cornerback Corey Ballentine (knee) missed practice for the second straight day. Both linebacker Jaire Alexander (knee) and receiver Romeo Doubs (concussion) were confined.
