On Wednesday morning, the Green Bay Packers took off from Austin-Straubel International Airport bound for Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The flight took off at 7:18 a.m. local time and will last over 10 hours, with an estimated arrival time of 7:15 p.m. Fans can follow the flight on Flight Awareness.
On Friday night, the Packers will face the Philadelphia Eagles at the Corinthians Arena in Sao Paulo in what will be the first regular-season game in South American history.
Coach Matt LaFleur said the long flight will allow players to catch up on sleep, watch tapes of Eagles games and talk with coaches.
