A bill working its way through the Wisconsin Assembly and Senate has sparked a stir among conservation groups that typically work together toward common goals.
Assembly Bill 512 and its companion Senate bill – SB 545 – would repeal the DNR administrative code, which generally prohibits persons from hunting or pursuing any free-ranging wildlife with a dog from May 1 through June 30 in parts of the North.
