His stock is still high, but shoulder surgery cost him most of the 2023 season, and he didn’t make a major league appearance until July in 2024 due to a broken hand suffered in March. The 25-year-old has just 192 plate appearances under his belt, but he has shown improved plate discipline and reduced his strikeout percentage since making his MLB debut in 2022. All of this leads to an engaging debate about whether or not Milwaukee should be willing to trade him to fill the needs of their 2024 roster.

They also have Joey Wiemer (who was in disarray in July) and Tyler Black (who resumed outfield play this year) in the minor leagues, along with slugger Brewer Hicklen, who was recently added to the 40-man roster.
