LOVB Austin swept Madison on Friday, January 10
In Austin, the hosts took care of business, beating Madison in three sets by scores of 25-21, 25-23 and 25-18. This match will go down in history as the first in the history of LOVB. After the match, Madison’s opponent, Annie Schumacher, said: “We have some work to do, but that’s part of it. If there’s one nice thing about losing, it’s that you get a blueprint for what you need to get better at.
Sarah Franklin had a successful professional debut
Former Wisconsin Badgers volleyball star Sarah Franklin made her professional debut. She wasn’t a starter, but she played a substantial role, recording seven kills and six digs. She was only ahead of Annie Schumacher as the team leader in kills, finishing with 16 points.

When is the next LOVB Madison game?
LOVB Madison’s next game will be played at the Field House in Wisconsin on Friday, January 17. They will face Salt Lake, which is winning against Atlanta in four sets. The match will start at 8:00 p.m. (Polish time) and will be broadcast on ESPN U.
