Section 7 – Packers and Dolphins stats coming in Week 12

Both the Green Bay Packers and Miami Dolphins had impressive victories heading into Thursday’s matchup at Lambeau Field. The Dolphins easily defeated the New England Patriots, converting four touchdown passes from Tua Tagovailoa to blow past their AFC East rivals. The Packers got three touchdowns from Josh Jacobs and three takeaways to convincingly defeat the visiting San Francisco 49ers.

Here are some stats on both teams coming out of Week 12:

12: The number of forced tackles by Packers quarterback Josh Jacobs, who currently ranks third in yards after contact and fourth in missed tackles forced this season. The Dolphins enter Week 13 with the third-lowest tackle grade on PFF. Can the Dolphins handle Jacobs on a tiny week?

78.6: Tua Tagovailoa’s spotless percentage for losses against the Patriots. He completed 75.8 percent of his passes, averaged 8.3 yards per attempt, and threw three touchdown passes while keeping spotless. Will the Packers be able to put pressure on the Dolphins quarterback on Thursday night?

0: Christian Watson catches three targets against the 49ers. He apparently gave up a potential touchdown in the first half. With Romeo Doubs (concussion) likely to miss the game, Watson will be the center of attention. Can Watson bounce back and pose a grave threat to Jordan Love?

10: Number of pressures generated by Dolphins rookie Chop Robinson in Week 12, per PFF. He had two sacks, a quarterback hit and seven hurries. Over the last three games, Robinson has had an incredible 22 pressures on just 82 rushing pass attempts. Will the Packers be able to keep the rising rookie out of the backfield?

2: Number of touchdown passes thrown by Devon Achane against the Patriots. He currently leads all running backs with five touchdown catches and ranks second among running backs in catch percentage (92.5). Although miniature, Achane is a energetic threat off the pitch, especially in the red zone. Can the Packers match his range in massive moments?

6: The number of catches made by 49ers wide receivers against the Packers’ other missing player, Jaire Alexander. Green Bay had trouble handling George Kittle, but otherwise shut down the 49ers’ receiver threats. Alexander will probably not play on Thursday. Can the Packers count on energetic receivers Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill, who combined for 13 catches and 192 yards against the Patriots?

7: The number of fumbles the Dolphins have lost this season after another loss last week. Jaylen Wright’s fumble was intercepted and returned for a touchdown by the Patriots. The Packers lead the NFL in turnovers with 11 following two consecutive turnovers against the 49ers. Can the Dolphins hold on to the ball when it’s frosty?
