Two miniature years ago, the Green Bay Packers made Aaron Rodgers the highest-paid player in the NFL. Fast forward to today, and Rodgers is congratulating the NFL’s up-to-date top dog — Jordan Love.
The future Hall of Famer briefly spoke about Love and the up-to-date $220 million contract he received from the Packers on Saturday’s NFL Network show.
“I want to give a shout out to Jordan Love, who became the highest-paid player in the NFL. J-Love, don’t spend it all in one place. But if you do, I still have a house for sale in Green Bay,” Rodgers said with a laugh.
Love officially signed his up-to-date contract before practice on Saturday morning.

“Someone will buy it, but probably not me,” Love said Saturday.
Love said Rodgers contacted her privately Friday night after the news broke.
Love’s up-to-date contract is worth $55 million per year and includes an NFL-record $75 million signing bonus.
Rodgers, who missed all but four games last season with a torn Achilles tendon, returns to the Jets for his second season in New York in 2024.
